Introduction - Alfreton Golf Course is located in quiet, beautiful countryside adjacent to Oakerthorpe Woods on the outskirts of Alfreton Town (Not far from Alfreton Park - the home of Alfreton's Party in the Park).

It offers superb views across Alfreton's local countryside and also features a well kept and compact layout that can be appreciated by all.

The course at Alfreton Golf Club comprises of 11 separate holes with tees arranged to give a full round of 18 holes. The Golf Club does intend to develop more holes in the future and aims to make it an 18 hole course. The Alfreton Golf Club Clubhouse is a welcoming 19th hole for all!


History - Alfreton Golf Club was founded in 1892.

Alfreton Golf Club, Wingfield Road, Oakerthorpe, Derbyshire. DE55 7LH. 01773 832070. Take the road to Matlock from Alfreton (A615), go past Alfreton Park on the right hand side, Alfreton Golf Club is at first right hand bend on the left hand side of the road as you leave the town (Wingfield Road, Alfreton).
