Introduction

Oakerthorpe is a small village, about 3 miles west of Alfreton Town.

Oakerthorpe has three local pubs called - The Peacock Hotel, The Anchor Pub and the Butchers Arms and was once home to Volvo. Oakerthorpe is also close to Alfreton Golf Club.
